  • Local Resident of the catchment area i.e 1000 population/150 HH
  • Middle School Pass
  • Preferably Married
  • Age: 18-45 years
  • Recommended by/acceptable to the Community

LHSs: Supervision

AIM:

To provide supervisory support and ensure quality performance by the LHWs.

CADRES:

  •  FPIU/PPIU/DPIU/FLCF staff
  •  Field Programme Officers: 1 FPO for every 2-3 districts
    •  MBBS/Masters in Sociology with experience in Public Health
  •  LHWs’ Supervisors: 1 LHS for every 20 – 25 LHWs
  •  Age between 22 - 45 years; Education at least 12 grade schooling, preferably LHV or graduate, local resident

SCOPE OF WORK:

  •  To provide “Supportive Supervision” to LHWs which includes:
    •  Identifying deficiencies
    •  Providing technical / backup support
    •  On the job training

 



LHSs Selection Criteria

The selection criteria of LHW Supervisors are the following:

  •  Female
  •  Age 22-45 years
  •  Education (in order of preference)
    •  LHV/ Graduate or
    •  LHW Intermediate with one year experience as LHW
  •  Preferably one year relevant experience
  •  Local resident of the area
  •  Incentive
    •  Stipend for LHS Rs 3300/month
    •  Ravi Pick up with Driver

SELCTION COMMITTEE

  •  The Executive District Officer Health (Chairman)
  •  The District Coordinator, National Program for FP & PHC, Secretary
  •  Representative of PPIU
  •  Representative of the community preferably elected District Nazim or his representative

 

 

Drivers Selection Criteria

  •  Primary Passed
  •  Having Driving License
  •  The age limit for Drivers is 25 - 45 years; preference will be given to educated, experienced and married candidate
  •  The Drivers will get Rs. 2400/- per month. House rent, medical allowance and other allowances are not admissible
  •  The applicant (Drivers) must be resident of the concerned area.
